To ensure that journalism students meet the demands of the rapidly changing media landscape, some crucial modifications to the study program could be implemented. Curriculum Revamp An updated curriculum should include subjects that address emerging trends in journalism, such as data journalism, multimedia reporting, and digital storytelling. Introducing specialized tracks like investigative reporting or broadcast journalism. Allowing students to choose between full-time and part-time options can accommodate those juggling work or personal commitments. State of the art facilities, including media labs, podcast studios, and VR equipment, can enhance practical skills and foster innovation. Collaborative spaces should promote teamwork and networking, essential components of the modern journalistic landscape.
